Watch our masterclass recorded replay until Monday night! Sent Sunday, October 9, 2016 View as plaintext

Hi

We had an amazing, online Clarinet Mentors masterclass today with over 85 clarinetists from at least 15 countries. I lost count, but it was truly an amazing experience. We had many questions that I answered, which you can view on this video. There were also many questions that flew by that people answered for each other. Some of the ideas that were shared were very helpful! Thanks so much to all of you who attended live and in-person.

I realize that many of you were busy, and unable to attend live. I would love for you to be able to watch and enjoy everything that we did. We covered so many topics - reeds, mouthpieces, tonguing high notes, finger positions, finger technic, tone, altissimo notes, ligatures, fingering charts, barrels (and I'm sure I'm forgetting some things!). We also had some live mini lessons to try and help clarinetists...

Join me Saturday for a live, online clarinet masterclass Sent Wednesday, October 5, 2016 View as plaintext

Hi

Just in case you missed this from my newsletter last week, in honour of Canadian Thanksgiving (which is coming up on Monday), I am appreciating all of you with a free, online, live clarinet training session. My goal is to provide maximum value and great clarinet training to all who attend. This will be a 90 minute session, where I give a mini-clarinet lesson to 6 - 8 people. There is plenty of room for people to participate by observing, and learning from this live training. You will also be able to ask questions throughout the session. I am convinced that we will have fun, and learn some great clarinet pointers.

I love these live trainings. It gives me a chance to meet with you "almost in person".

I do need people to register in advance so that I can ensure that I have the technology set up for the proper number...

First come, first serve, 10 spots open for one-on-one clarinet lessons Sent Tuesday, August 9, 2016

Hi! I hope you are enjoying your clarinet these days. I rarely have time for one-on-one clarinet lessons, but I have put aside two days in August to meet some of you "live" (via computer) for a one-on-one lesson. You need a computer or phone or tablet with a video camera, microphone and a reasonably fast internet connection to have a clarinet lesson with me. They are really fun, and I promise to do by best to help you with your biggest clarinet concerns. I will also provide you with a video replay of your lesson so that you can review as many times as you wish. If you'd like to sign up, please go to this webpage: http://www.greatclarinettone.com/onlinelessons I'm creating this letter while I am on holidays, so it is not the most elegant webpage! However, there is a drop down menu for August 19th and August 30th to choose some lesson times. (You need to select your time and then click...

Important - did you see this? Sent Friday, July 15, 2016 View as plaintext

Hi

I want to make sure you don't miss out on this if you've been busy lately. I really appreciate you for being a part of the Clarinet Mentors community. My hope is that you are making great music on your clarinet, and really improving your skills in a way that avoids frustrations and discouragement. All of my free training supports my mission of creating a world full of happier clarinetists! Hopefully you saw the free videos that have been available on improving high notes this week.

I want to send you a special invitation to join me for some deeper training that I truly believe will speed up your clarinet playing progress. This invitation is for you if you find that higher notes are more difficult to play than lower notes. It may be that they squeak, don't respond, they are hard to play at softer dynamics, the fingering slows you down, or they "jump"...

1-week only: Access now Michelle's best clarinet training as a gift to you Sent Thursday, July 7, 2016 View as plaintext

Hi ,

I notice that you haven't checked out my latest free training videos which are aimed at helping you to play clarinet high notes with much better tone, control at softer dynamics, and to save lots of frustrations by trying to figure out how to fix common clarinet challenges. These are available for free for the next week in celebration of my new high notes course being released next week.

I think this is the most valuable training I have ever offered at no charge to the Clarinet Mentors community. I know that some of you tried to sign up when I first mentioned it, and there were some technical difficulties on the website. That has been corrected now, and you can access all three of these videos.

Over a thousand clarinetists have watched and enjoyed my video, Better Clarinet High Notes - 5 Technics to...

New access information for your Clarinet High Notes Course Sent Saturday, July 2, 2016

Hello ! Yesterday I sent you the Clarinet Mentors newsletter with information on how you can sign up for a free 3 part course designed to help you play clarinet high notes more easily. There is also a chance for you to win some great prizes if you help me by telling me what your biggest clarinet challenges are by July 3. Apparently I play my clarinet much better than my computer! There were some technical difficulties with the sign up page, which I believe are now corrected. Please try again if you tried yesterday (or sign up now, if you haven't): www.masteringclarinethighnotes.com If you register there, you'll get an email from me with the proper link to the video. I haven't figured out how to have the video magically appear, but the email links do work! I believe that there are many great pointers in the video series, so I hope that you will join me. Thanks! Michelle
